What awaits Spencer's return?
I thought of a fun game we could play. We could make predictions as to how the world will have changed in the next two years before our new Elder returns from his mission.
Maybe it's a common thing in Utah, and now you are all laughing at me at how totally lame and mundane this is, but I didn't grow up in Utah or in the Church, and I just thought it up all by myself, so there. :P
Anyway, I'll start (and since I'm a geek, my comments will tend towards the geek end of the spectrum -- sue me):
- Microsoft announces it's for-real, honest-to-goodness launch date for Windows Vista, just in time for Christmas 2008.
- After seeing their music and video game divisions go bankrupt, Sony executives reflect that maybe wearing pants wasn't so bad after all. reference -- language warning
- In an effort to stop the spread of viruses, liberal Democrats will pass a bill making email illegal for moms and offshore casinos.

I anticipate being able to visit San Francisco by that time. A least, a dry and recognizable San Fran.
I mean, I don't anticipate this. The rest is as I meant to type it.
Considering the rate at which Windows has been going, I think that two years is a tad on the optimistic side. :P
I just said they'd announce their launch date; I didn't say it wouldn't get pushed back again. ;)
Touche.
And, apparently, my family will be at least one member larger.
