Why Did I have to be in 7th grade in 1992?
I'm not sure which one I like best. I suppose this gem is dependent on the
first.
Then there's always this take, which is great if you always wanted to know the words to the song. Give this one a minute to warm up, then the band seriously swings.

Its like there is a party in my ears, and everybody is invited. Despite their long haired cocky zombie swagger and their coked up bored expressions,(and might I add unintelligible lyrics) I really like Nirvana. They are the Beatles of the grunge/modern rock era. I think they really helped kick rock music out of a rut(a heavily synthesized and electronic drummed rut.)
Here is a version by Tori Amos.
It is strangely unsettling, yet very satisfying nonetheless

I agree with you badger. Why couldn't I have been better friends with the casual drug user who missed school the day after Kurt Cobain took his life? Bracken, those were the days.
I remember the "cool kids" talking about Candle Box and Nirvana and the Beastie Boys and all these alternative bands that I didn't even begin to understand until I graduated from high school. Maybe I should have ditched the Oldies station before my sophomore year...
I'm kidding by the way. About the Oldies station. *shiver* Fifth grade was a dark time.
